Grant for FS4 has been approved

CISU has allocated close to DKK 5 million for the food security project’s 4th and final phase. However, this amount is only a fraction of the total budget for the project as the state commissioner of the West Bengal has decided to allocate part of the state’s unemployment funds, corresponding to a total of DKK 33 million, to our project activities. Our long-term strategy to make the Indian authorities accountable must thus be said to have succeeded. The 4th phase of the food security project will start in July 2019.
